Vitis ‘Vanessa’, commonly known as grape ‘Vanessa’, is a vigorous deciduous climbing vine valued for its attractive foliage and sweet, seedless red grapes. It produces broad, lobed green leaves and clusters of fruit that ripen to an appealing pinkish-red to deep red colour. The grapes have a pleasantly sweet flavour and are ideal for eating fresh from the vine. With its productive nature and ornamental foliage, ‘Vanessa’ is an excellent choice for training over a pergola, trellis or against a warm, sunny wall where it can enjoy plenty of light and shelter.
