At Carpenders Park Garden Centre, we are pleased to welcome well-behaved dogs into the Garden Centre. We want all customers, team members, and four-legged visitors to enjoy a safe, comfortable, and pleasant visit.
Where Dogs Are Welcome
Dogs are welcome within the Garden Centre shopping areas, provided they are kept under control at all times.
Please note that dogs are not permitted inside The Evergreen Restaurant or on the restaurant patio area.
Keeping Dogs Safe and Under Control
To help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, we kindly ask that:
- Dogs are kept on a short lead at all times.
- Dogs remain under close supervision and control.
- Dogs are not allowed to climb on furniture, displays, plant benches, trolleys, or stock.
- Owners keep dogs away from food areas, staff-only areas, and any restricted sections.
- Dogs are not left unattended anywhere on site, including in vehicles during warm weather.
Cleaning Up After Your Dog
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs immediately. Please dispose of waste appropriately and let a member of staff know if any assistance is needed.
Consideration for Other Customers
Not all customers are comfortable around dogs, so we ask owners to be considerate of others during their visit. Please keep dogs close by, avoid blocking walkways, and prevent dogs from jumping up, barking excessively, or approaching other customers without permission.
Safety Around Plants and Products
Garden centres contain plants, composts, chemicals, sharp tools, breakable items, and other products that may be harmful or unsuitable for dogs. Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs do not chew, lick, or interfere with any plants, products, displays, or equipment.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in line with applicable access requirements. If you require assistance during your visit, please speak to a member of our team.
When We May Ask a Dog to Leave
We reserve the right to ask that a dog is taken outside or removed from the premises if it is causing distress, behaving aggressively, creating a safety concern, fouling without being cleaned up after, or disrupting other customers, staff, or animals.
Thank You
Thank you for helping us keep Carpenders Park Garden Centre a welcoming and enjoyable place for all visitors.
