VITIS Pinot Noir 15cm
Description
Vitis vinifera ‘Pinot Noir’, commonly known as grape ‘Pinot Noir’, is a vigorous deciduous climbing vine and one of the world’s best-known red wine grapes. It produces attractive lobed green foliage, which develops good autumn colour, along with compact, pine cone-shaped clusters of small, thin-skinned blue-black grapes. The fruit ripens from late summer into early autumn and is particularly prized for wine making. Best grown in a warm, sunny and sheltered position, ideally against a south- or west-facing wall, ‘Pinot Noir’ is an excellent choice for gardeners looking to grow a classic wine grape outdoors.
