Vitis vinifera ‘Himrod’, commonly known as grape ‘Himrod’, is a vigorous deciduous climbing vine grown for its sweet, seedless dessert grapes. It produces attractive lobed green foliage and generous bunches of pale golden-green fruit that ripen quickly in mid-autumn. The grapes have a pleasantly sweet flavour and are ideal for eating fresh from the vine, as well as for making jams and jellies. Best trained against a warm, sunny wall or sturdy support, ‘Himrod’ is an excellent choice for productive gardens where both attractive foliage and reliable crops are desired.
