VITIS Grape Phoenix 15cm
Description
Vitis ‘Phönix’, commonly known as grape ‘Phönix’, is a vigorous deciduous climbing vine valued for its reliable crops of pale greenish-white grapes. The fruit is produced in dense bunches and ripens in mid-autumn, developing a sweeter flavour as the grapes turn yellow. Suitable for both dessert use and wine-making, ‘Phönix’ is also noted for producing wines with a light muscat aroma. Its attractive lobed foliage develops good autumn colour, adding ornamental value as well as a productive harvest. Best grown in a warm, sunny and sheltered position with sturdy support, it is an excellent choice for outdoor grape growing.
