VITIS Cabernet Sauvignon 15cm
Description
Vitis vinifera ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’, commonly known as grape ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’, is a vigorous deciduous climbing vine renowned for producing the classic dark grapes used in red wine making. It bears attractive lobed green foliage and generous bunches of relatively small, deep purple-black grapes that ripen from late summer into early autumn. The fruit develops a rich, intense flavour with characteristic blackcurrant notes and can be used for wine making or juice. Best grown in a warm, sunny and sheltered position, either outdoors against a south- or west-facing wall or under glass, ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ is an excellent choice for gardeners looking to grow a famous wine grape at home.
