RHEUM rhabarbarum 'Canada Red' P15 2ltr
Description
Rheum × hybridum ‘Canada Red’, commonly known as rhubarb ‘Canada Red’, is a robust herbaceous perennial grown for its attractive red stems and generous crops of edible rhubarb. It forms a strong clump of large green leaves carried above thick, colourful stalks, creating an impressive presence in the vegetable garden or productive border. ‘Canada Red’ is particularly valued for its richly coloured stems and is an excellent choice for harvesting for pies, crumbles, preserves and other desserts. Easy to grow in fertile, moisture-retentive soil, it performs best in a sunny or lightly shaded position and will return reliably year after year.
