Tulip 'West Point' is an impressive award-winning Tulip that is a happy shade of golden yellow. It produces a tall and elegant bloom with long-lasting reflexed flowers with long, pointed, twisted petals and a sturdy stem. It is also lightly fragranced.
Choose a wind-sheltered position where possible to avoid damage. Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost, for flowering from April-May. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Under the right conditions, this graceful tulip will flower year on year.
