Tulip Toronto are jasper red with wonderful papery petals. They tend to flower from multiple stems, which is slightly different to many other multi-headed tulips. They have the potential to produce multiple stems but often only produce one.

Early to flower, from March - April. Originating from hot, dry habitats, tulips prefer fertile, sharply drained soil in full sun. Excessive wet will not be tolerated. Plant Tulipa ‘Toronto’ from September until December for colourful flowers to brighten the house.

Use them to highlight the edges of your spring flower beds, plant them along pathways or use them to pretty up pots, in containers on terraces and balconies. They’re sure fire winners, and their warm colour is just what you need after a chilly winter.
