Tulip Cape Town offer perfectly formed, cup-shaped, two-toned bloom is made up of sumptuous petals in the palest lemon yellow, almost lime colour, with scarlet red petal with thin decorative edges, which deepen to maroon with age and are slightly notched at the apex. Each flower stands on a mid-green stem with matching lance shaped foliage.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist, and receiving direct or partial sunlight.
Plant in garden borders or make a feature by planting in patio pot containers. They are perfect for beds, cottage gardens, town approaches, village greens and as cut flowers.
