These flowers open with all parts with a centre of creamier pale yellow which gently spreads out to the golden-yellow petals which fade to a paler colour with age. Producing multiple blooms per stem, two to three lemon yellow flowers per stem. They're delicately scented too!
Plant anytime from August-November, Blooms from mid to late spring, hence, you can expect a long-lasting zesty display of lemon-yellow which will bring effortless spring cheer to your garden during March and April.
Foliage emerges in February and should be retained until it dies back in June so that bulbs can be reinvigorated, ready to return next year.
Prefers well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Hardy, bulbous perennials which do not require winter protection as long as they are planted in free-draining ground.
Ideal for beds, garden borders, rockery and patio pots containers. Narcissi Pipit is tough enough to plant in rough grass, it further naturalises over a period of time and are truly a sight to behold.
