Narcissus 'Jack Snipe' is an elegant miniature trumpet daffodil, with just one flower to a stem. A pretty miniature trumpet daffodil, has bicoloured flowers, with six creamy-white petals with a golden yellow cup which has a simple frill, and swept-back petals that open up and curl backwards, making the flower look a little like it has been grown in a wind tunnel.

Plant narcissus bulbs in autumn, and it will start producing sweetly scented dainty flowers during the months of March-April.

Unlike other daffodils, Narcissus 'Jack Snipe' prefers slightly acid, moist but well-drained soil. Thrives in sun or light shade. It's perfect for growing in a spring border, naturalising in gardens, lawns, around trees, shrubs, in the grass, they can also be grown in rockeries, landscaped areas, town approaches, village greens, verges or using as part of a spring container display. It makes a pretty cut flower too.
