The first layer of icily pristine white petals are topped by a slightly smaller and loosely-ruffled layer in lemon yellow fading to ivory white at the slightly crimped edges. However, it’s the frilly crown with contrasting colours that steals the show. A pompon affair of twisting cup segments in deep lemon to sulphur yellow and white could warm even the coldest king’s appearance. With grey-green, strap-shaped leaves.
