Narcissus 'Dick Wilden' a yellow clump-forming perennial of double daffodil produces herald of spring: Its orange-yellow ruffled pompon of twisting cup segments are delivered on a double-layered server of light lemon yellow outer petals with white points at the tips, these have grey-green, strap-shaped leaves. From early to mid-spring these out-facing flowers provide a cheerful parade of colour as they march across the garden bed. Thrives in sun or light shade. Comes back easily every year.
This beautiful variety is highly scented and perfect for a floral arrangement if you feel like taking their bright cheeriness inside. Just be sure to let the blooms open fully before cutting them.
