ACER Red Flamingo C3

Acer negundo 'Red Flamingo' is an attractive variegated box elder maple grown for its colourful, decorative foliage and vigorous habit. This deciduous tree produces pinnate green leaves edged with broad pink margins, with the young growth often displaying rich pink to reddish tones before maturing to green and cream variegation. In autumn, the foliage turns soft yellow, while the bare branches reveal pale grey stems through winter, adding further seasonal interest. Reaching around 4 to 8 metres in height and spread, 'Red Flamingo' makes a striking specimen tree for gardens, mixed borders, or sheltered landscape planting. It grows best in moist but well-drained soil and performs well in full sun or partial shade.
