Hyacinthoides hispanica also known as 'Spanish bluebell' is a vigorous, bulbous perennial that bears sturdy stems topped with clusters of bell-shaped flowers in spring above large clumps of strap-shaped leaves. These mix flowers usually come in varieties of colours such as pink or white, pale blue, without any fragrance. Spanish bluebell is hardy, robust and easy to grow, but it can be invasive, spreading both by seed and by bulb.  Seeds freely and colonies are soon formed, and is difficult to get rid of.

Planting months September onwards, as they start to appear about the end of march. As a bright green leaf and then as they grow by end of April beginning of May, you will have an explosion of beautiful deep violet/blue flowers.
