👊 The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will take full ownership of day-to-day operations and performance — working closely with the owners and leading the team from the floor, not from behind a desk.
Key Responsibilities

Lead operations: Run the restaurant day-to-day, ensuring smooth service from open to close

Set and protect standards: Service, cleanliness, pace, food quality, presentation — every shift

Hands-on leadership: Be visible, involved, and effective during busy periods

Drive sales & profitability: Set targets, manage budgets, and improve performance through smart initiatives

Team leadership: Recruit, train, coach and develop a strong team; build accountability and pride

Customer experience: Ensure every guest leaves happy; handle feedback and complaints professionally

Rota + staffing control: Plan schedules properly and keep shifts strong and efficient

Stock / supplier management: Maintain stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships for quality and cost-efficiency

Compliance: Ensure all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards are met

Reporting & improvement: Provide weekly performance updates to the owners and drive continuous improvement

Strategic input: Work on menu development, promotions and long-term plans that grow the restaurant

✅ Minimum Requirements

3+ years management experience in a high-volume restaurant / café / hospitality setting

Proven ability to lead a team and run a shift properly

Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and profit optimisation
-
Full UK driving licence
