The icy white of the double Tulip 'Mount Tacoma' has double layers of pure white petals open into a wide fluffy flower with a warm heart of gold. It is multi-headed and also adds fragrance to the spring air. Its broadly lance-shaped green leaves and large snowy white bloom on a strong tall stem are held aloft on sturdy stems late in the season.
Tulip 'Mount Tacoma' adds a special charm to borders or edging displays, or gives a touch of softness in a container or patio pots.
In September to December plant bulbs for flowering in March to May. Tulip bulbs can be planted in a sunny position or semi-shade, with well-drained slightly acidic or neutral soil.
