Tulipa ‘Blue Spectacle’ is a beautiful tulip producing double rows of vibrant violet-blue petals, tinged with a blue sheen. Introducing charm and romance to the garden. produce several blooms on every its sturdy stem, these have a single flowering stem, with strap-shaped grey-green leaves at ground level.
Blooming throughout mid and late spring, Flowers: April to May. Plant from August. ‘Blue Spectacle’ tulips will grow in a diverse range of soils, acid, alkaline or neutral, provided there is good drainage, preferably in a position of full sun.
Display in beds, borders, containers and rock gardens. These tulips are also perfect as cut flowers.
