EDGEWORTHIA chrysantha 'Grandiflora' 29cm
Description
Edgeworthia chrysantha ‘Grandiflora’, commonly known as paperbush ‘Grandiflora’, is a distinctive deciduous shrub valued for its fragrant late-winter flowers and unusual architectural form. Rounded clusters of numerous small yellow flowers emerge from softly hairy buds before the foliage appears, bringing welcome colour and fragrance to the garden in late winter and early spring. This cultivar has larger leaves and flower clusters, along with stouter stems, than the species. Best grown in a sheltered position in full sun or light partial shade, it makes an elegant specimen for borders, courtyards and protected garden spaces.
