Description
Clematis ‘John Paul II’, listed by the RHS under its accepted name Clematis ‘Jan Paweł II’, is a vigorous deciduous climber admired for its elegant, large creamy-white flowers. Each bloom can reach around 14cm across and is delicately tinged or striped with pale pink, developing a stronger pink central bar later in the season. Flowering from midsummer into late summer, it provides a refined display against its fresh mid-green foliage. Best grown in partial shade to help preserve the flower colour, it is ideal for training over trellises, arches, fences and walls.
