Campsis radicans, commonly known as trumpet vine, is a vigorous deciduous climber admired for its bold, exotic-looking flowers and lush green foliage. From midsummer into early autumn, it produces clusters of large, trumpet-shaped orange to red-orange blooms that create a striking display against its pinnate leaves. Its strong climbing habit makes it ideal for covering sunny walls, fences, pergolas and other sturdy supports. Best grown in a warm, sheltered position, trumpet vine is an excellent choice for adding height, colour and a dramatic architectural presence to the garden.
