The Narcissus 'Hawera' each bulb produces several stems, which in late spring are topped with up to six soft lemony yellow flowers, the clustered, reflexed star-like petals are swept back dramatically to reveal a charming, petite calico-white button of a crown /corona. This, coupled with the fruity fragrance and soft colours and easy-going growth requirements would be sufficiently attractive to most gardeners.

Flowering period: April to May. Narcissus 'Hawera' re-sprouts beautifully without needing lifting or any other special care. Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. As they usually open in succession, they will often flower over several weeks.

Perfect for planting into pots, containers or for adding spring colour throughout the front of the border. Last but not least, this late bloomer is a wonderful cut flower that keeps well in the vase.
